INTRODUCING DUKE ENERGY - WIRE TRACKING SYSTEM

This project came around by the need to organize and track wire spools across the Cincinnati area.  Many spools are used around the city with various cable sizes, and remaining lengths.  This causes a lot of confusion for the crews using the cable, requiring them to waste time and money by having to call people to track spools down, go and get them, then finally go to the job location.  With our device, crews will know where spools are, how much cable is on them, and what type of wire by just logging onto a website.  This will save the company (Duke Energy) time and therefore money by not needing to track down spools when they are needed.
